I felt her presence even before she entered the room. Her scent burned my nose, marking me with her essence. My fingers vibrated to the rhythm of her distant breath, as if they could remember the texture of her hips.
My eyes scanned the room, drowned in despair. I moved quickly and carefully, following her scent like an animal. It felt like old kisses on the neck, like a gentle whisper.
